Mrakovic Meat & Deli story begins with a family of four from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina that fled the wars of the Balkan region to call Canada home since 1994. Our family started our business preparing and selling smoked beef goods in our little apartment from a recipe that has been in the family for generations.
We opened our first set of doors in our Toronto location in 2003 which consisted of a small butcher shop, grill and bakery. Our dedication and commitment to our products is what let us to open the doors to our new state of art production facility in 2019. We guarantee the same satisfaction from our food that we have had since day one, just like when grandma cooks.
Our quality begins from the top; we only purchase beef, lamb, and veal locally from Ontario suppliers which is delivered multiple times a week and is all free of hormones and antibiotics. Our devotion to quality derives from the freshness of the ingredients, meaning we would not sell anything that we wouldn’t eat ourselves.
Our production facilities are provincially inspected, giving us the ability to sell our products wholesale to shops, groceries and restaurants across the province. We can be found in over 100 stores across Ontario, somewhere close to home. Look for the “Mrakovic” brand in your local grocery store.
